Privacy Policy — fortunato.dev website

This policy describes how personal data of fortunato.dev visitors is processed, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

Last updated: July 12, 2026

Data controller

The data controller is Fortunato De Angelis. You can contact me at any time at the email address listed in the Contacts section of the Privacy Policy.

What data is processed

fortunato.dev is a static showcase website: it has no registration, no contact forms and never asks you to enter any personal data.

While browsing, only the following is processed:

  • Technical browsing data (IP address, user agent, requested pages), temporarily recorded in the hosting infrastructure logs for security purposes and correct delivery of the service.
  • The technical consent cookie and, only with your consent, the language preference cookie (see the Cookie Policy for details).

Purposes and legal basis

Technical browsing data is processed to keep the site working and secure, based on the controller's legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR).

Your preferred language is stored exclusively based on your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time from the "Cookie preferences" panel.

Recipients and third-party services

The site is hosted on infrastructure managed by a third-party provider (Vercel Inc.), acting as data processor, which may process technical browsing data in its system logs.

The site does not use analytics tools, tracking pixels, advertising or profiling. Fonts are served directly by the site (self-hosted): no request is sent to external font services.

Links to external platforms (GitHub, LinkedIn, Instagram, X) lead to websites managed by their respective owners: browsing those platforms is governed by their own policies.

Transfers outside the EU

The hosting provider may also process technical data on servers located outside the European Union. In that case, the transfer is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and on the additional safeguards required by the GDPR.

Retention

Technical logs are retained by the hosting provider only for as long as strictly necessary for security purposes. Cookies have the lifetimes listed in the Cookie Policy (180 days at most).

Your rights

Under articles 15-22 of the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and to object to processing, as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise these rights you can write to the email address listed in the Contacts. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) or with your local supervisory authority.

Changes to this policy

Any substantial change to this policy will be published on this page, updating the date shown at the top of the document.
